What do you think about my shove in the first hand? He overbets pot, so clearly would not like to play the hand further. And I have huge fold equity on my side, having the short stack in the game. Im pretty content with it. |

I dont think if someone bets that big on the flop in a mtt they plan to fold to a shove. Not sure if its better to shove or to fold... |

Put yourself in his shoes and think about it - if you have an overpair, set or straight, do you overbet the flop? Maybe you do it with a middle overpair, but other than that it seems like it would be pretty bad. His bet represented the exact hand he had and his bet is to protect it, because it's an extremely wet board and his hand loses value with so many different turn cards. The more I think about it, the worse his calls seems to me. |
