Why bet? To protect against fish playing draws passively? vs most opponents today I'd rather check behind here, he's representing showdown value on the flop, and with that 7 on the turn you're all of a sudden behind most of his range. PF play would indicate that he's quite passive, but unless you have seen him c/c a wide drawy range postflop, then I think you should check behind turn and probably fold to a river bet. |

How can we be behind most of his range? He is a 48 vpip passive fish, that probably likes to call alot post flop with gutshots. flush draws, 6x, Ax, along with his J x, 7x. Alot of that range might call a turn bet but is not calling a river bet . |
