Good/Bad?
I wasn't sure what to put villain on exactly, but after his turn lead I didn't think he'd have many 6x in his range, and its hard to call the river raise with less. |

hmm i think i would call river.
i don't know what kind of gameplan (if any) he has for calling this flop 3-way and donking turn, but to me it makes the most sense to weight toward marginal made hands like A5, A4/A3 w/bdfd, or whatever. i really don't see why he would be slowplaying a big hand 3-way on this particular flop since people will sometimes 3bet jam over a raise with AK/AQ etc.
i think he could potentially have something like A6/86 too, but i don't understand why he would play sets or 2pair this way. |

calling turn bc you think you are good (putting him on 6x or bluff) doesnt translate into raising the river when the worst card for you comes.
that said - just raise turn. assuming hes bad, losing value from so many weird pair+draw hands |

Yeah, that makes lots of sense. At the time, and I still feel like this might be true, I didn't see 6x as being very frequent in his donk-range. i felt like he had a strong but vulnerable hand, and wanted to protect it maybe the arrival of the FD made him feel vulnerable, i don't know. Player type was unremarkable, seemed basic, passive, unremarkable and unimaginative.
BigRed is right it doesnt really make sense to slowplay 2p+ on the flop. which basically means my river raise folds out exactly 77. At the time though i definitely put sets and higher 2p in his range. I guess because it seemed out of character for him to donk anything less than clear value 3 ways.
Not that the results justify the play, but the follow through, and then fold on the river seems consistent with a2, 2x, 2p+ or 5dXd, 3dXd |
