I know I'm pretty bad in general, but is there any way I can get away from this? Am i ever putting him on a higher set or 8-9? :S |

The most important thing is that you dont WANT to get away from this. The only debate would be the best postflop line to get the money in the middle.
Since most people cbet too much, I would probably prefer a c/r on the flop. IF you're going to donk-lead, I think its only because you expect opponents to pot control check behind this board too often, so you lead to force the action. and IF you decide leading is good, it should be close to a PSB, not 60% of pot. You want to build the pot here, and your flop sizing misses a ton of value from a massive range of hands.
Remember, bet sizes increase almost exponentially from street to street, so building the pot early, on the flop, is critical to getting value from your big hands on later streets. And there is a massive value-difference in the long-run between a 60% PSB and a 90% PSB on the flop, if your turn and river plays are proportionally identical.
As played, I think I also prefer a flop 3bet. I don't think too many weaker value hands are raise-folding here, and you're not getting away from this on bad turns, so you might as well take the EV vs draws on the flop, and not let him use position against you on the turn by checking behind his missed draws. |
