I wouldn´t stay standard hah but not as crazy as napo makes it out to be

Well what do u expect there to beat? To hit a runner runner straight? he has 17 outs to turn a draw (4 7s, 3+3+3 + 4 Q), but 12 of those put a flush draw out and Qs Js and 9s all put out a possible higher straightdraw. But lets say the best possible card on the turn, the offsuit 7 to complete the rainbow, he still has like 4+3+3+3 outs to hit - so he gets a straight like 17/45*13/44 times = 11%. But its likely some of those wont be good enough to beat possible higher straights or flushes.

If he had at least double backdoor flushdraw or smg.

Ofc, in this instance he cant count on 2pairs as well giving him somewhat decent equity, but how many times its only a bare 2pair here? Isnt it more likely for 1 player to have at least a set?

Isn't player 6's play the most crazy?

Lots of backdoor potential, all 2 pair outs are very likely live and a decent clip of fold equity.

And no sets are very unlikely.

Almebeast comment is interesting btw and one of the main reason why player 2 shove.

the only play i don't like is player 2 colding calling pf with a rainbow hand deep oop. postflop is pretty standard from everyone.

I mean lets be completely honest and unbiased....

Dusty is the only one who's played this hand well.

poker is soooo much easier when you flop sets

So I'm the only one who would fold flop in player 6's shoes? Top and bottom pair is crushed here so often. Player 2's flop play seems reasonable with FE.

You just said that player 2's play is reasonable with basically any T with overs because he should have plenty of fold equity against dusty's range. If player 6 thinks player 2 will c/r allin any Txxx because he thinks dusty will b/f a lot, why should he think top and bottom is crushed very often?

Yeah I guess I contradicted myself a bit.

Why are not sets likely when people get it in 2.5 buyin deep on a dry flop 3 way flop ? : o

:D

it's hard to make a set.
players 2 is willing to stack off 2.5bi with top pair
players 6 raise 2.5 bi with two pair ( not top two if it matters )
both play are correct

imo it answers your question

lacman730   United States. Jan 22 2014 01:24. Posts 311

also there aren't many hands that contain 44 or 33 that are playable based on the pf action outside of double pair hands which are pretty rare. that leaves TT which is only one combo when you hold a T yourself.
