is a bet really good here?
I think c/c a big bet and c/r a small one is a superior line, given villain's hand looks like a bunch of busted draws (and so does mine when I check)
Like, when I bet he calls with Ax+, KK-JJ are the only hands that might call a river bet that don't bet anyway. |

I like betting if he's tight and check back alot with missed draws/go to showdown alot with mid str hands, could see a call with some other pairs actually after you raised a bit over 4x which could be a draw. I'd probably check raise here quite a bit tho cause his range is pretty wide with alot of missed draws and quite a bit of value hands that might hero call a raise. |

since you block Tx that it's a potential hand that he could pay the river bet and you don't block any draw combination his range is really really draw heavy here
so I think I prefer checking, esp because if he has an ace like A6hh he is betting the river and also it's not 100% that he's going to call a river bet with JJ-KK
and I don't know why you want c/r small, since the hands that he will call you, will call a big raise anyway, A8hh is the only hand that you lose about and it's only 1 combo, stick all the money in |

meh, I think this a spot where villain size is dependant on his hand strength. Guess if he bet/calls with AQ+ a c/r is good. |

well tbh i did read this HH a bit fast and thought there was a 3-bet, and felt we could represent JJ-KK quite well, block betting the river.
villain might valueraise Ax here, or raise his missed hands... don't really expect it to happen that often thou, but it's a line that would be congruent how we possibly can play other pair type of hands.
now that it's actually a minraise pre I realize JJ-KK might never be in our range. |

Bet. He's going to check back the vast majority of his range. I don't think people are going to bluff here with their missed draws a ton. The board run out is not very good for it. |

gotunk here is also repping a busted draw or a really strong hand on the river by checking, so his 20$ bet was fine imo, u'd prob just fold hearts to the 20$ bet
oh and on that river betting really small is good, especially vs a fish for spazz purposes |

idk man, I usually see fish checking back basically everything but the stone cold nuts in such spots, or flatting a small bet. Bet big vs fish is mandatory imo
There are types of fish that will spazz bluff or valuecut themselves with Ax shoving over any bet, but it's rare and with no info I wouldn't count on it
