flop raise is full of shit. I didnt expect him to think I have complete airball when I coldcall two streets on this board, so he probably would not shove river with a small pair turned boat on the turn. hes not a reg so hes not balanced at all preflop, letting me discount AA/QQ/KK/JJ. He also defends pretty wide BB vs CO and BTN opens. With 9x he would most likely c/c flop and either c/c further streets or lead something like 1/2psb riv depending on turn action (this is my experience with fish). Lastly my concern is with TT: well its only a few combos I'm worried about so w/e. I also find that fish love c/c'ing AJ type hands on this flop. the most difficult decision was on the turn. he could still conceivably play a 9x the way he did here, but I stubbornly stuck to the fact that the flop raise was bs.
The greatest flaw to this thought process is that I'm just guessing without much history given the limited information I have. he could for all I know be 3barreling 66 or 77 trying to get himself valuetowned to death
any criticism is welcome guys |
