heinnn was somewaht 30/20 over only 15hands and the sexxymartin was a typical reg nit so i think that his 3betting range (3.8%) contains also alot of AK type hands.

I'd be happy to play for stacks with JJ at 5nl and expect a fatty profit doing so. Folding it preflop, to me, is wrong.

Don't be caught up on ranges, learn the game by playing more hands and paying attention to which hands are shown down when. If everyone was good they wouldn't be playing 5nl.

.

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - KapolLast edit: 04/03/2014 16:29

This is just wrong. Maybe this is true back in 2007, but the average 5NL player today is only playing for 100bb stacks pre w/ QQ+/AK generally. They are so passive, they'll just flat 3bets pre generally with anything worse.

Are you kidding me ?

Not saying it doesnt happen. But more often then not, you run into a bigger hand then JJ playing for stacks pre.

iam quite sure that the preflop 3better has AK here thats why he cbet/folds
and i made the xp on the lowstakes that check, raising big on the flop (especially multiway) is more than 85% a set.
especially given that he minraised first and then called the 3b it pretty much looks like a small pcoket pair or a really big pair that was slowplayed and in either case my Jacks are bad now.

I fold vs normal size but heinn likely not on Sauce's level and the odds aight so calling should be okay.

we have a bluffcatcher pre that doesnt flop particularly well postflop. always an uncomfortable spot. youll get a feel for how often you need them to "have it" for you to start putting money in. id probably fold this at low stakes without solid info on 3bettor being wide here

when in doubt and you have the worst possible position folding is fine
when in doubt but you have position its okay to continue

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same
