how retarded am i 1-10, I want to know if this was horrible or just slightly bad. I can never figure people's ranges out, I would never call a 4xBB bet with AT but apparently that's cool. Also everybody at these stakes seem to be super scared of minraises (which is justified since they are always monsters) so that's why i raised to little at river.

Would have played it the same way until the river.
People will probably say: raise turn but I think you wanted to know if he has an ace or not and I would have wanted the same info here. Unfortunately he went for some kind of trapping (bc he didnt knew if his aces were good).

But @ river: dafuq is this betsize?? Its already crying out: Iam beat by an ace please reraise if you have an ace. Then he does you the favor and you still call °_°

Calling 4BB with AT/s in LP is super standard imo at least for a lot of ppl that are not super, super nity but even the regular nits will play A10/s iam quite sure (at least I would definetly play it in LP)

the betsizing was because people in general are afraid of minraises (i am too, trying to always remember to fold no matter if odds are good) because they are always traps. Wanted to scare him away here since I didn't want to bet at all, i was pretty clueless about his hand. What would you do here, raise 60% pot?

Damn I didn't know. Made a thread on this forum about calling 4xBB with AJ and people almost advised me not to do it. Thanks

That's not a minraise that would be a small bet (minbet if it was minimum size). In order to raise there has to be a bet before you act

Sure, but any minraise/ridiculously low bet is what I'm talking about. Every single time it turns out to be a bait (unless it's an obvious fish who bets 1Bb at flop/turn.
