Facebook Twitter

hes a nit vs 3 bets noway I have 3 street, even 2 I 3b just cause of blockers.

doesn't really matter which street I bet rly imo
think river and flop are best to rep most bluffs?
i kinda dislike cbet flop cf turn tho and can pick up more value from air he bets on flop or turn
its good for my range too I check fold this flop a ton

autoprofit preflop close without them vs his fold to 3b, plain +ev just by pf fe with them
he plays like 24/20 just folds too much to 3bets

are his fold to 3bets based on similar sized oop 3bets? your sizing is rly small i can't believe anyone would fold anything.

it's a 10bb 3bet I wouldn't make it bigger with anything it allows me to bet bet shove comfortably post, he 4bb just cause of the dead blind. And yeah I had tight image smn who raises reasonably wide and has 70% fold to 3bet won't call everything here oO

ofc samples are small I just do this with a controlled range (when not tilted) and make assumptions even if I'm wrong there's not much he can do rly.

what if someone 5x or 6x pre, you still don't make it bigger with anything?

idk, in 6m i opened 17% utg and folded 60% to 3bets (overall fold to 3bet, cant remember specific positions) and i think i'd call this with 100% of opening range =S

well yeah I'm kinda forced to innit - because when someone does 5x or 6x there's limpers and I'll end up 3way a ton.

This is a special case tho with the dead blind poster

I mean it won't rly bother me if I'm wrong and you call too much innit my range is well balanced here to nutted hands A2s-A5s KQo (AJo - might be inclined to flat that pre tho) some good suited bluffing hands I can be wrong and it won't matter much to me I won't be in trouble postflop much. When I play my A game that is.

I know I way overdo it with bullshit hands just cause "it's a good spot" when I let myself go a bit then bet bet shove this flop with this hand which is terrible etc

well i cant prove you're wrong b/c i cant prove you dont always play perfectly balanced with that same range postflop...but i have doubts t.t

"perfectly" lol
obviously if you don't 3b a completely polarized range oop it just makes postflop harder you need to cc more and stuff..play poker more.

Just like if you play correctly and call 3bets oop or super wide vs bu opens in BB - that shit's hard all I can tell you that I will play it pretty well vs people at this limit

But playing them perfectly lol, nosebleed players can't do that pretty sure all I have to do is suck less than my oposition

this is bad unless you know for a fact that villian likes to pounce on weakness this is an option but he freaking checked back a set there twice so this is exactly the player you dont want to do this against.

Also what blockers? what does Kc block that wont allow you to valuebet here?

If you cant go for at least 2 streets of value with this hand then calling pf is probably best and 3 bet a very polarized range, if he is such a nit then it shouldnt be hard to get away from it if you face resistance, this way will also mind fuck you and allow him to value bet properly AQ etc

Those checks (and call) by villain... Wow.

I personally lose a lot more money on this hand than you did. I mean, I wouldn't get stacked here, but I definitely cbet. And probably cbet turn too. In fact yeah, I probably lose my stack here fairly often.

What a nit, how do people like that find poker fun? Jesus.

Definitely need to go for 2 streets with this hand.

Also, wasn't it just yesterday or the day before that you said you don't 3b typical regs who open utg with qq?

So. You don't 3b normal regs who open utg with qq, but you 3b a massive nit who opens up 4x utg?

Sir lemonge, this logic - I just don't get it.

he's not a massive nit preflop he plays like 24/20 he just folds to 3bets too much I expected his raising range to be normal even wider because of the poster.

And I pretty much use the 3b range from applications of nlhe when im IP, just a bit wider as default and adjust it a ton for reads, stats I mean I'll never put in as much work as he did might as well trust him and it's been working pretty well
