why min raise pre? |
Because it was a fairly weak drawing hand, I don't feel really comfortable playing QJo from early position so just wanted to raise 2xBB to get people to call instead of raise (if i limp i will probably get raised), but didn't want to bet 3xBB because it's too high for a QJo hand early.
I have a little bit of a hard time deciding on what betsizing i should use pre, I see a lot of different stuff everywhere (I'm pretty sure I saw pro players go bet 2xBB, may have been heads up though) and thought I would take advantage of it by half-limping here to get a cheap flop without risking a reraise.
What are your thoughts on the hand in general and do you not think you can raise 2xBB here? |

but do you raise more if u have a better hand from the same position? If so, thats pretty exploitable |

I don't really vary bet sizing a lot, it just happened this time (I was pretty new to table anyway), I wouldn't divide my range into two halves with different betsizing since that is giving away too much info. What do you think about the rest of the hand if I was playing 3xBB raise pre? |
