at micros 6m it's good to control your bluffing and calling down vs unkowns based on your range, it'll make you play more solid, bluff with blockers, equity instead of random hands like this etc.

I write, i normally always do it with equity, but his stats only showed CO and BO opens, so figured he's probably really wide.

this is pretty bad unless he cbets every hu pot oop then u can mix in some zero equity plays but u better have a good read and do it positoinally correct and betsizing correct and be ready to jam all rivers to get him off any strong A if you run into the top of his Ax range.
