huh? super standard |
You think it's super standard that someone calls you with 7 highs, then checks it down hoping it's good? |

it's pretty normal at micros I see stuff like this from fish like every day
I guess betting flop for protection is aight still the size is unnecessarily big |

It's not consistent with the story I made preflop, this is absolute bottom of my range I isolate oop, MAYBE some fish K8s, but I don't go lower than that, and IP, i usually want 8Jo +
The board has 2 high cards, and most of the cards ppl play are Broadway, he limped, so he might have 2 shittier cards, he called, maybe 1 of them is high, so 2/3 is pretty standard size, im oop too.
If it was 227 or something, and im ip, id make it 1/2 though.
It's pretty interesting, how different we think and play, but around the same stakes lol. |

Against a 92/8 fish, I don't even mind a turn bet for value, or possibly calling a river bet as played on some cards. His flop calling range is huge, every flush draw and gutter. |

Yeah bro your preflop range has nothing to do with your flop range - nothing worse ever folds on the flop so your bet is for value/protection - it almost seems like you are "bluffing" when you have the best hand most of the time here? |

Doesn't your preflop range, directly impact how well you hit certain flops, ur so confusing lol!!
"oh, this flop connects good with my range, I bet"
ppl under estimate the way fish think, they're not "retards",they just think of poker REALLY poor, but tons of fish fold all the time, and wonder what you have, this seems like a decent bet to me regardless vs a fish like this. I take the pot, which is fine, makes it easier to play, so passive, could just be value betting, i get harder to play against, i could go on.
The hand I have isnt a hand id like to check call with, so betting probably best i think |
