How badly did I play the turn? Relatively unkown villain, only 27/15/0 over 12 hands. Never seen him get to showdown or make a play like this

how about preflop ? do you fold when the MP 4bets, like in the AK hand ?

vs unkown, I'd most likely get it in, not sure I'd be thrilled about it though? I figure JJ is too strong to just flat here oop, but against unkowns EP 4bet, not sure how well it does. I guess if his range is like TT+,AJs+,AQo+, JJ is a slight dog. I feel like 4bet range would be tighter then that though.. idk

I just don't know if most people are screwing around with 4bets at 10NL.

EP and MP open and 4bet ranges shouldn't be really that different. When people are opening on average 12-18% from that positions and you are 3betting JJ vs a very tight range with intention of getting it in, think what can happen. If they flat your 3bet, overcard to J is going to hit more than 50% of time which is quite a lot, and I am not sure you have postflop plans for those scenarios, when you are not sure what to do and how to size your bets when you get one of the best flops for your holding.
Or you are going to get 4bet and get it in, and I think it's safe to say that no one sane or even close to a winning player is going to get in TT or AJ-AQ in those positions, so think about it. You are getting it in behind very often or flipping, so argument that JJ is just too strong to flat here is not that great. You are inflating the pot preflop OOP and there are really not that many great situations that can arise.

If it was against BTN or even CO, I wouldn't say anything but you have to realise what does that opening % of every position means for their range. If someone is opening 15% and you are 3betting JJ, you are probably somewhere around 7% if we add bluffs and that's just too much. You squeeze/folded AK vs BTN open which should have at least 2 - 3 times wider opening range in the other hand I commented, so I don't understand how you can possibly think this is a more profitable spot than that.

I definitely see the leak in my game in that AK hand now. I guess I just auto 3bet JJ a lot of the time. How would you size bets here, and proceed on the turn if we assume play preflop was fine?

you have to decide if you are going for 2 or 3 street sizing in 3b pots. If you want to go for 3 streets, just bet somewhere around 1/2 pot on each street and you will easily get AI on river for little more than 1/2 pot.
With JJ on this flop, I would say 2 streets are better as your hand is quite vulnerable and there are some cards that can slow the action. Just bet little more on the flop and you can shove turn for less than pot.

we have about $7.7 (?) on turn with $6.4 in pot... i'd overbet jam rather than bet half pot. we should never be bet/folding here with this SPR. i'd take the same line with AdKo or whatever

betting more on flop is good too, slightly more costly if we're gonna be cbetting this board with our AK/AQ combos so it depends on our range
