No reads on either villain.

I know I'm beat a good portion of the time when he raises the turn, and I know I shouldn't have called. I guess I didn't know it confidently enough to actually make the laydown, but I figured I was beat

My question is: at which point should I have folded?

I'm getting good odds on the flop to draw to a flush and beat two pairs, sets, and straights that are raising.
Once I make the flush on the turn, is it really a +EV move to be folding the flush when he raises again? The pot is pretty large and there isn't much stack left to go behind, I kinda feel he could still do this with sets and two pair thinking to himself that if I've made a flush, he can still outdraw me and fill up on the river.

I realize this hand is pretty badly played but I'm still not exactly sure how and at what point I could be / should be getting away from it.

interesting turn lead.. are you balanced there or were you just very confident he was not going to fold?

Basically anything he's raised on the flop (especially multiway) I think he's calling, and anything he's bluffing with probably has Ah or Kh most of the time.
I also don't think fish fold straights or sets, even when a 3rd heart hits the board. I've seen people stack off with hands as silly as AdKd here. Not often, but at micros with no reads it's definitely a factor.

Do you like a turn check/raise or check/call better?

fold pre, seriously. dont want to be opening 18%+ from EP, its asking to get pounded as you move up. it doesnt seem like a big deal, but get into good habits with hand selection early. bottom of my range from there is T9s or 98s. i think lower are certainly losing. even though its not a lot, its really great to be very precise with opening ranges. mine from UTG in 6max is 13% 55+ ATs AJo KTs KQo QTs JTs T9s 98s A2s-A5s, sometimes fold 98s in tougher lineups, sometimes open J9s, go back and forth on those 2 hands, but 87s is losing i believe.

the rest is fine, you can do anything from turn on and its really ok.

yes. i personally dont like opening the 14-16% hands UTG, especially when i defend vs 3bets by mostly calling. i guess they are an option but feel like they almost never flop super strong, are dominated frequently and if you were to try and 4b all of your non callable Axs then you are 4b bluffing too much as your value range should be small there

Yeah it is a slightly looser open than I usually go for. The table was pretty tight so I was capitalizing on people's tendency to play fit-or-fold. I liked having more suited connectors and aces in my range than hands like AT because at least when called I'm not dominated and my hand is easy to play postflop for the most part.

Having said that, it certainly is a loose open from UTG and I should definitely consider tightening there thanks for the comments!

okok, i open them knowing that it might not be GTO-correct or whatever. I just like semi-bluffing backdoors with them and coolering lower flushes
