curious what you think he has here, cause it seems like you are repping a really narrow range in a 3bet pot...can you really rep a 6? pretty hard to have a boat, but you could have an overpair like QQ or AJ? but would you turn either into a bluff like this on the river? |

dont think people bluff enough in spots like this
so I think im getting some extra credit
the only draw on the flop got there, so he needs to put me on a random pair turned into a bluff or backdoor flush draw that decided to bluff giving him sick pot odds on the call
idk what he folded but I rep only the nuts, and I play every nuts in my range exactly like that
so if im playing 45s, 33, 66, 77, JJ, 67s and a random 6x like that, I also need to bluff some %
the first hands on the river that I will be turning into a bluff are Ax hands ( which are all backdoor flushdraws prob ) because I block AA and AJ |

idk man he has sick sick odds to call, I would not expect anyone to fold an overpair here for practically a minraise, but perhaps that's what he thought as well xD |

seems like a tough spot to bluff, making a well thought out bluff pretty cool, i think
why not fold an overpair, lebowski? think about it - he could have overpair, but the range he is repping is so narrow and strong, and it's tough spot to bluff, why not fold something like QQ? if i had KK i could say, well i still beat QQ..... |

in theory I should always have a bluffing range if I have some fold equity
in this case Im giving villain 20% on the call ( he needs to call 130 to win 640 ) so I need to bluff 20% of the time to be unexploitable, which means that for every 4 combos of value hands I should have 1 combo of bluff
so counting my value combos, I think it's around 20 combos ( 45s, 56s, 66, 33. 77, JJ, A6s ) so I need 5 combos of bluffs, I think Ax are best hands to start bc I block AA which is his stronger bluffcatcher, dont think I have much Ax combos that I play like that, maybe AQcc but its only one combo, ( also could turn AJ into a bluff bc I block JJ and AA but I think I might call there with AJ ) A3cc is one for sure, so it's never wrong to be bluffing here with A3cc
btw, I dont think he folded an overpair because he snap folded,
but I think he might fold, and my bluff alone needs to work 40% of the time, I think his bluffs + Jx + sometimes when he folds some overpairs is enough |
