Was this played optimally?

Villain seemed to be 3betting light, since he's IP and I'm opening CU I figured it was more likely than usual that he'd be 3betting a little light here and my hand is strong.

Unfortunately I'm going to be OOP and overcards are almost always coming.

What should factor into my decision preflop and would you have played this differently? Villain is 26/25/11 over 75 hands and seemingly quite passive postflop.
