I thought you 3bet when I first looked at it meaning you would only have some Kx and a few 7x and never improve on that runout. At the same time your overall range would be very wide and you would be 3barelling as a bluff more than 1/3rd of the time. I don't see why you blocking a 7 affects how good his call down is.

What I say still applies to the button minraise in the actual hand also. You may have more value combos because you will have more 7x but you will also be seeing a K77r flop with 60+% of the entire opening range of hands so even if you 3barell bluff a small % of the time it can still easily be too much.

And the board bricks so hard to your 3 range none of your possible holdings get better by river so unless you really do 3 a lot of Kx and thinner value or are super balanced in bluffs on the river with a tight value range I just don't see his call down being super awful or anything like you seem to think it is

Yeah like I had a look at this say I 3 barrel all good blockers A8-ATo A8s-A9sJT QT QJ (block Kx hands, equity vs his hands like that one -,-)

I guess the calldown's correct oO
looks stupid tho - I'd expect (solid looking reg) most micro players to fold I guess he's correctly a station and I should ead and bow to him for his great play -,-

I think you are right here actually vs a good player that somehow caps his range by 3b 13%+ pre, I need to be betting bigger with my range if I want to 3 barrel a lot.
Can't be a mistake when I have way more strong hands than he has - just bet bigger turn and river

Don't think it's necessary vs solid looking ssnl regs - I rly expect them to just fold hands like these to this sizing

i wasn't joking with the pot overbet overbet, its something i learned from a great coach for these spots
