do you call a smaller bet on the river?

that shoves discounts non flush nut combos that beat you heavily - his range's super strong yours is capped doesn't make sense to vbet with that size really unless you'll outlevel yourself. Why I think calling a smaller bet's actually tougher - he can go ahead and snapvbet 65s, 65o (whatever % of combos he has), Jh7d, Jh7c, Js7d, Js7h, Js7c, Jh7h, 7d7h, 7d7c, 7h7c, 4d4s, 3d3h, 3d3c, 3h3c on river because you shouldn't have many flushes but shoving those hands isn't good nor we should expect it from him . Not sure if I think about this correctly though.

hand's still top of our range besides 44 and I assume you don't X all combos OTF still a smaller size from him would be a lot better

on the turn I thought he might have some better hands, like a set, but his size was weird, looks a lot like a rebluff because he knows Im weak most of the time, and I dont think he has many flush draws when he 3bets small like that on the turn
when he overbet the river I thought, OMG SNAP, dont think he expects people to be hero calling river overbets with capped range, so I dont think he overbets for value even if he has a flush

ofc, it's a good spot to be overbet shoving a lot of hands when he knows im capable of calling like this, but it's a high level shit imo, he needs to think like "he knows that I know that his range is capped, so I will overbet shove for value when he's weak because he's going to level himself and think overbet for value doesnt make sense and hero call with whatever weak hand he has"

about being the top of my range, I've been checking back some flushdraws with SD value lately, in this case not so much because the only pair with flush draw would be top pair, so it's too strong to check back, but if the board was like Js4s7h and I had something like 79ss I might check back some % of the time, some villains go crazy when the flush pops and they think your range is capped

Dont listen to anything I say

Even so why'd you raise a a small fd this turn though you don't really rep much obvious value without heavy established X back dynamic.

glad I got the river right
