Preflop: JTs falls within my standard/default 3x range from the CO. I open and it folds to the BB who is a loose fish. He could call with an enormous range here given the improved odds, his VPIP, his fishiness, and given that my open was from the CO.

Flop: standard call. He's giving us odds to hit the flush on the turn alone. No need to raise whatsoever.

Turn: We hit our flush and are met with some shared enthusiasm for the turn card.
I put fish on a range of:
22/66/88+ (50% of QQ combos removed to account for 3bets and 66% of AA/KK combos removed as well.)
A8s/o
K8s/o
Q8s/o
J8s (non hearts)
All suited aces of hearts except for the ones that are blocked and AK/AQ which I expect to 3bet.
Some Kx/Qx of hearts (a generous dose)
89s/o
Other random suited heart hands (connectors, 1 gappers that are feasible).

If that list is 100% accurate and we expect a call 100% of the time, our equity is 60.03%.

why aren't you raising flop?

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN

Why should I?
It'd be a semibluff and villain is a station.
He's giving me good enough odds to hit the turn alone.

Because you're ahead of his range and you're value raising. Taking the aggression now (and in general) and building up the pot sets up potential big pot(s) later far easier. Would you rather build it on the turn and river by betting heavily (and potentially more face up)? Also, his minbet donk range is probably extremely weak, you don't mind him calling because you have value and he's folding a good amount while minbetting and you'll barrel him off on some turn cards. It also makes you tougher to play against.

two overs plus fd (and a backdoor nut straight) vs a non fullstack guy in a single raised pot is a good play in a vacuum long term, you probably will make monies here.
if you have some history on the guy i dunno

"i treat a minbet as a check" -TalentedTom
probably differently worded but funny and fairly true

if he checked i'd assume you'd have bet - don't let such an insignificant bet change your game plan

Sliggy are you Phil Galfond? that work is inspiring

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

If your range is correct you would be right to jam assuming he never folds any of it, if he folds enough of the lower end of that range to drop your equity under 50% just call.

His flop mindonk leads me to believe you should weight his range heavier in hearts
