villain is 37/10/7.4 in 265 hands, and he donk bets flop 15%. I think I was pot-committed with the raise, wasn't expecting he had half of my outs
called because i was beating AK, and I didn't see any history where he is limping with KK
need to think more about dem donk bets |

i'd raise a bit less (to around $3.5) but it plays pretty much the same. can never fold with these effective stacks |

after you:
lhr0909 raises to $5.00
with:
Dealt to lhr0909 Kh9h
on a:
Ks9c2c
with:
Seat 1: lhr0909 ($17.40)
folding would be the equivalent to lighting money on fire. |

could you explain a little bit about the effective stacks? still pretty new with some of the concepts. I thought was just a tournament poker concept. |

effective stacks is just how much there is to play for
for example you have $17 but your opponent only has $10. effective stacks would be $10 because you can't play for more than your opponent's stack; it wouldn't matter if you had $17 or $1700 behind |
