could you explain a little bit about the effective stacks? still pretty new with some of the concepts. I thought was just a tournament poker concept.
effective stacks is just how much there is to play for
for example you have $17 but your opponent only has $10. effective stacks would be $10 because you can't play for more than your opponent's stack; it wouldn't matter if you had $17 or $1700 behind
