Villain seemed pretty loose for the number of hands I had on him (51/32/4.5 in 58 hands). Seems like he would have the flush very often.

I need to look at the texture a lot more carefully and just check behind here.

Anything else I could do better on?

Nice hand, well played man. From the limited number of hands I've seen you post, this is probably one which you played really well. You're often over-valuing your hands (on the turn typically), but this looks good from my point of view.

Sucks, especially since he was so loose, but what can you do. Losing 4$ is much preferable to losing 10$. Don't even think about the 2$ you 'lost' by betting on the river, you'll make so much more money long term betting your good hands than by playing like a pussy.
