Posts 20070 it seems on average you do very well when you slowplay, for example if you flatted AAxx pre here and just flatted all 3, compared to 3-betting and your opponents play fit or fold vs your range (end end up doing better then they should) seems like people are over-compensating the betting lead at these stakes even if you had KKxx here slowplaying and flatting down almost no matter what may have higher ev then reraising Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Bejamin1   Canada. Jul 22 2014 23:12. Posts 7042 I think about that a lot, although part of that is maybe because my 3-betting range isn't really that wide. I also find I'm a lot more successful 3-betting hands like KQJ10 /w 1 suit in position than say AAxx, especially AAxx out of position. That may just be needing to be more brave about stacking off or calling down OOP though. I certainly think about what you're talking about often. Sorry dude he Jason Bourned me. -Johnny Drama
