i dont think ppl are bad enough to have a pure bluff here anymore.
if he was bluffing wouldn't he at want to do a better job repping something by following up on turn with a small bet and jamming close to pot size on the river?
seems like he hit runner runner |

did you check turn with intention of check raising? otherwise im not sure i get why you are checking the 2nd best possible turn card for your in a 3bet pot. if hes JJ+ you'd get it in and stack him on the turn.
i feel like river could easily be TT and he's shoving praying you have JJ+ yourself |

he raised my flop raise, I dont think I should have a turn leading range since I'm mostly bluff catching: there's way more combos of better hands than worse value hands that are raising the flop + the bluffs/semibluffs that are more likely to bet than to call my turn lead
on the river the same thing, after he checks back the turn looks like he's giving up, slowplaying or catch some showdown value on the turn ( less likely since I block the 9 ), no point in leading since the argument for let him bluff is better, and I still want to have hands as strong as 2 pairs on the river
GTO wise i should call ofc, but I have the impression that this is a spot where people are unbalanced, I mean, it's a good spot to overbet everytime you decide to bluff river since my bluffcatching range will have an easy time by calling a 3/4 bet on the river, but I believe only good/really good players are aware of this ( and they should be checking back the turn with hands like 67 with the intention of overbet shoving ofc )
the guy is a reg, but I dont think he is pretty good |

fuck if we can answer that for you
like you're supposed to call 37.5% of your range here
if you call just 89s TT (T8s) you still are folding all those overpairs and flop floats here and still will be very nitty, well below that optimal frequency so folding even those means you are very confident in how he/ppl liek him play.

Why do you think it would be optimal for him to check the turn with 67 rather than bet/bet. You said yourself his overbet on the river puts your bluffcatchers (most of your range) in a hard spot so by some logic that would indicate it would not be the best value play.
Unless he thinks you will call turn bet then fold to river bet but call the overbet often enough to make that the more +ev value play. Or he is more concerned with balancing his bluffs than with making the most exploitatively +ev play. |

also just looks like he took a freecard on the turn. bricked river. and now he is trying to bluff out in the only way he can vs what looks very much like your 1pair/overpair hand.
your hand is high enough in your range that this is a call btw |
