why play so passive? AK is a pretty good hand. you have 7 outs to AQ. 10 outs to AJ. If he's 3 betting JTo you are way ahead of his range. you can't be letting him in cheap preflop especially oop. |

this is zoom and you are saying it as if he is 3betting everything between AA and TJo
I guess I should just shove cause he is never bluffing |

I think the 4bet is a bit small when you're oop personally. Prob not standard to auto 4bet UTG vs BTN's 3bet with AK either, but i guess it's ok vs this opponent if he's 3bet/calling JTo |

4bet bigger oop.
Flop pot control is okish if you consider him to be a nitty or rather standard reg(which he obv isnt with the TJ call) because you are often way behind vs a tight reg`s range.
You could check the turn and then bet most rivers yourself if he checks back turn.
As played I think you cant fold on the river. |

pot control is kind of a stupid concept if you plan on check/calling any bet
if he has a hand like QKo, TT, KK, AT, he isnt folding, if he has you beat hes prob stacking you 100% of the time, however as played when you have him beat, you win no money
its kinda hard to pot control postflop when you are OOP, and you put in 20% of your stack in pre, I think you are not understanding he concept of pot control |

Yea I kinda agree with Mardaggs post, with the addition that if we know our opponent is calling light preflop like this, betting the flop becomes better. |
