Ehh not so sure, does he really ever do this with KQ/QJ/Q10? I think that's a c/c with those hands, c/r all-in wouldn't achieve much imo (i.e. fold worse get called by better). Floating oop twice and c/r river with complete air also seems very unlikely to me. Dunno, tough spot.

Look at his hand and equities, what do you expect him to have here, uno cards? - TianYuan

Flat pre.

3bet sizing too small

idk i think 3bet pre is fine, as is calling. sizing seems okay too, since we have position

seems like a cooler in general, i'm not folding river for that size

Can you explain your logic for 3betting 88 BTN vs UTG if you think it is fine ? I was always curious to get a peak inside those minds that do it, just to understand what they think is the upside of it ? Is it 3b/fold or you just love setmining in 4b pots vs utg ?
What is your 3b percentage in these positions then, like 10% ?

I 3b fish that play wide range with 88 to this size pretty much exclusively this deep - isolating em IP is never a mistake
vs regs makes no sense

the deeper it is the more i like it. i don't prefer it over calling, kinda depends on how villain reacts to playing OOP. if they are prone to 4betting (and stacks are less deep) i'm less prone to do it.

i guess i'd equate 3betting this to 3betting a hand like 98s. sort of a preflop semibluff/balance, makes it hard for his 99-QQ to play postflop and gets some preflop value from weaker hands. it also protects my preflop 3bet range on flops like 567 578 etc, i need some strong hands on those boards
