Sigh.. so sick of being outfloppped...

I guess I can just bet flop here but turn seems to make a ton of sense... seriously though I'm so sick of not running good ever in key fucking hands lol

so sick you were 55% favorite preflop against a hand that play better postflop (he can fold you can't)

cf lemon's AA

you played this badly though; if you only 4b AAxx then you are deep enough to be exploited- it shows here because you felt uncomfortable pot/calling flop like you normally would with AA in a blown up pot.

As played you really need to shove the river; sets and other hands (low flush may call 1) will draw turn and fold river.

and you have this attitude like you should be entitled to the pot because you have AA pre or something.

his doublesuited ungapped rundown is prettier and more rare than your hand

well u raised turn too big to bluff river. m/r turn then shove river is much better than ur line. Also flatting turn and shoving river when checked to is better than your line and might be better than raising turn at all. Betting flop small and bombing the runout is better also.

Yes I very rarely 4-bet in spots like this. Normally I just flat. His stats were just so insanely loose it seemed acceptable to do so vs. his range.

And yes this hand is obviously butchered that's why I posted it. Once I do the dumb thing (4-betting) I find it curious to see how others play in this spot. It's actually really hard for me to rep the flush when I don't bet flop (when would AAxx /w 2 hearts not pot-slam this flop?).

Also Trax, what's with the love for 4567DS. Even if it's a rare hand it's still not that great to be calling off just hoping to hit here. The frequency with which he actually catches a hand that is better than 50% on the flop isn't that high... his pre-flop % is dependent upon actually seeing all 5 cards. Something he often won't be able to do if I play the hand properly. (Which is probably to pot-slam and call off on most flops). Although I still find these spots seem more like gambling than anything else. Hoping to hit the right part of opponents ranges. A lot more work need to be done on them by me, but its not like I play with anyone often enough to really know their true 3-bet and 4-bet calling ranges.

interesting hand, i feel i misplay these spots super often

i guess u should just fold turn, u can't rep hearts at all after ckbk flop

as for preflop, i don't understand (ever) raising to an amount that allows the opponent to effectively shove, cause we always have AAxx and when we don't we kinda screw ourselves when he shoves his AA. like, if we had his hand we would always just call the 3bet right? so should we literally never 4bet, even with AA, since we don't really want to 4bet anything else? idk! big leak in my game tbh

i guess we if opponent is loose enough we can 4bet/call good blocker hands like AKQJ rainbow? can we ever 4bet/fold a hand like 6699? i think good postflop hands like 789Tds should always be a call... though we don't even hate getting it in vs AA pre that much, so can we just 4bet a huuuuuuuge amount of hands vs someone whose 3betting often? seems to depend on how often villain will shove non-AA hands. random thoughts!
