bet really small/fold?

I think I'd usually like bet/fold here if there was larger effective stacksize, but you have only about a halfpot sized bet left to go in... is bet fold really reasonable in that case?

If this is a loose-passive type player as it sounds like you describe, maybe just bet the river to get value out of a seven, pocket TTs, 8s, pocket 6s maybe, or possibly 89.

Is he loose enough to have a lone ace in his range? Would he play AT-AQ this way? If so, even if he is calling with 65 and 66s here you have less than 50% equity. I think in this case check folding would be better, because the combos of missed draws are much fewer than combos of random aces.
