vs a nit I fold this and make a note about his weird check minraise.

how nitty? you can see river in position

there is a sizing tell when people almost minraise, but click the bet slider a few times first so it's just a little more than a minraise, i don't think he is necessarily crushing us here. his raise isn't a good setup for an all-in river, he has to make a considerable overbet OOP if he wants to put you all-in. you shouldn't fold and make a note that doesn't give you any info... call and see what he raised with or see what he does on river then you can make a note like check/raises air OOP on low boards, minraises turn KK+

he could do this with any offsuit big ace, probably not in spades, because of your flat pre and his blockers he wouldn't put you on a big overpair. similarly with 99~JJ. because the board misses his broadways it also misses yours. calling in position keeps FH and pair/straight combos in your range. it's a blue moon that you're dead here i think see river

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

feels like a fold, we lose to AXs and any other random ace.

call for info isn't too bad
