An interesting little spot. I like a shove on the flop too but it seems the obvious thing to do is call and let the deep guy come along potentially incorrectly. Turns out he had a hand that meant he should come with anyway but oh well. Note that Berg's AhXh doesn't stop me from claiming the whole side-pot with hearts.

You give him about 3.5-1 by calling, if you assume the short stack calls.

I suppose he's getting odds, but obviously he's not always going to have as big a draw as he did. And some draws I'll have dominated as I do in this case. I'm not sure which is better maybe just shoving is, but it seems like we make it really easy for him to fold the massive amount he has behind when we have a pretty crushing hand vs. his potential range. Hmm.
