ok need more opinions on this ? why is this bad exactly ?
we have good dynamics hes a good reg from lover limits, i 3b a lot vs CO, BTN over 10, for sure he continues here with lover pairs or QK , QJ, AQ on the flop i mean , thank you |

the fact that he could be doing this with worse for value/protection doesn't make it ok to talk yourself into x/shoving this hand.
You obviously can't 3bar for value vs good reg after this turn (def not without Ah), so why do you think x/shove is better ? He still has all the flushes and sets and plays them exactly like this so where does the additional value come from ? even if he spazzes sometimes with Qx , that doesn't make it up for the times you get it in drawing dead.
If he bet/calls Qx here, he would surely pay off the bets if you made them yourself. Even if he wanted to turn some hands into bluffs on the turn, your shove prevents him from bluffing further and all it accomplishes is that you allow him to make easy decision and you are putting in much more money than you should on terrible card for your equity.
To me it seems like buttonclicking and no range-play at all. If you want to have a x/shoving range on this turn you have to put more work into it then just convince yourself about good dynamic, shove and hope for the best.

I didn't say it in general - What I meant was hero probably didn't feel he has comfortable 3barrel for value vs this guy so he decided it's time to play fancy. When you think villain will call you down lighter you can obviously 3barrel here for value, but I guess standard NL25 reg will not call you down that light and fold a lot of stuff you beat on river. On other side he will have so many flushes that I doubt this particular hand will have 50% against tighter calling range on river. |

this seems like a villain specific spot. is villain betting all of his one-heart hands on turn or checking them back?
if he's the type to bet them, i like the play, otherwise i don't
vs Qx i think there's not a big difference between x/r and bet |
