yea, 3b pre and bet flop
as played bet flop and probably call turn unless you know his check minraising range to be really wide then make a smaller raise

Sometimes you're just destined to lose man.

Position is a hell of a drug.

I was actually very surprised you didn't run into kj. Just felt that way to me anyway.

NEVER check behind this flop. Build pots when you got it. Him too really. Strange hand

I would say the shove is excessive, yes.

He's not slowballing you w/ q10/108. Still surprised he didn't have kj tbh

Step back for a second and look at it from villains shoes.

He has no idea what you have. He has a set, and wants everything in. Even on the worst turn possible, he's shovelling it in. If he had known this (especially if he's aggressive), all the chips should have been in on the flop, right? Well, I personally think it's possible to get away... but I'm a nit. long-term, totally a winning play.

I guess what I'm trying to say is - build pots big time when you have a good hand

Don't give your opponents that much credit. Even high stakes players are monkey dicks from time to time as well. If you got it, shovel it in. Do NOT check behind these flops.

I mean. In a nutshell, you ever think kings play it like this? Or ak? Actually, maybe. Who knows. We're all button clickers

You have to 3bet pre, and bet flop. I mean as played against a villain I have no reads/stats on, I just call turn raise and decide river. Min raises from weak players are generally pretty strong on turn and river.

bet flop, you check back way too many flops in general.

turn shove is definitely not good, you're basically just repping KJ.

I like calling flop, bet flop, call turn against almost anyone

I would 3bet cause villain seems to be a drooler

You fight like a younger man with nothing held back.

jamming turn folds out everything you like. nothing worse calls unless he's a retard

yeah ur just forcing out his weaker draws when u overshove turn. make a smaller raise, if he forces the action u have to go with it

and definitely bet flop!

Flop check is a big mistake simply because we miss value from so many pair+draw type hands.

Turn of course was an even bigger mistake because we are severely over-repping our hand, when someone raises us there is always the chance they have the nuts, some people never raise without the near nuts, so you're overbet shoving into 2pair/sets/straights, he's gonna fold most of his 2pair hands and snap us with the rest
