Because he could have totally made the same move with AJ KJ hands and you are ahead vs those. I would even raise a bit larger pre (1.35-1.4). |

You got enough money in pre-flop with these stack sizes that it's not a mistake to get the rest of your chips in if you flop an overpair, since that should be close to the top of your range. |
