theres no wrong way to play this draw, you have correct odds to profitably call flop and turn, raising is fine too

I think calling is kinda cool, cause most people dont have a wide raising range on this flop, so it better balances your range

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

Keep in mind voodoo, the reason behind your action is more important then the action itself. If you only played like this cause you "felt like it" then it may be incorrect, where as if a really good player was to make the same play, it is actually correct.
This is one of the reasons why when a weaker player watches a high stakes video made by an elite player, and copies their plays, they get crushed.
Before you make big descions like this, ask yourself is there a better way to play it, and if this is the best way, why is it better then my other options?

yes, well since I have ace high but very good draws in position i dont have to inflate the pot especially these kind of boards 3 ways where my fold equity is very low. i wonder if this reasoning is valid because I rarely see someone not play overly agressive with this kind of hands+boards...

Keep in mind just because a lot of players play a hand a certain way does not make it the best possible play, most players dont make a lot of money playing poker. Your last to act in the hand, and your pot odds are incredibly +EV, flatting here is a great option, esp since we dont know what the guy leading has, his range can potentially be very strong (ex flopped straight, set flush etc..) I personally like the way you played the hand, I'm just more currious as to why you think the play is good or not

played it this way for these exact reasons and there's no need to flip coins at nl10 imo but the standard seems to be put a massive raise on flop then bomb turn, at least that's what i see all day...

I bomb it. And find it hugely profitable.

That's not to say it's the only way to play it. People seem to think there's one way to play hands at x given stakes. All player dependent man. Thing about this, I believe it would be hard to get paid if a 5, 10, or spade comes up.

If a spade comes, you may get paid off big from a drooler. And probably shit all from anyone competent. Yeah, a set/straight will get it all in w/ you (on the flop) - and you'd prefer they fold, but that's a very tiny part of their range.

Blah. I'm drinking a bit, and I dunno if I'm being coherent...

Anyways, I slamdunk that shit to mars.

What you have to think of is in this particular situation? Stack sizes.. position.. imo, this is a golden time to throw out your bronze balls and grab the pot now or later.

I mean. Fuck em if they can't take a joke, amirite?
