This can't be right... You're calling 5 with 13ish in the pot and implied odds of 8 more dollars with 10 outs vs KJ, not to mention he can have 33, TT at least.

orlangoor is a nit goon. He's not doing this with 3's or 10s. I'm honestly quite certain he has a straight. Hence the nice lay down.
Still sucks though.
Me? I'm never laying this down haha, but I'm a spewtard. "I think he has it... he probably has it... he might not... fuck it..." SHOVE

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

totally not normal. If you knew villain, sure, but otherwise I think it's a standard pump it up

Maybe totally not normal by your standards but welcome to 2014 where most people who open 10-15% in MP to 3,5 BB might not be the best candidates against who you want to mash the raise button mindlessly.

cmon its HJ vs BTN if we re not 3betting QQ what are we 3betting ?
lets say the guy is a nit and opens 15% HJ and folds 80% to 3bet, its still a clear 3bet :/
thats like close to worst case scenario ever too
If the guy is in fact a nit as played I like the fold since villains range is KJs KJo & AA
However I've grown to not trust Lemon when it comes to stats cuz he uses the smallest samples ever

Against this kind of villain I would 3bet AA-KK and a bunch of or suitted connector/Ax as bluffs
Against other people who open wider/fold less we can 3bet AK and QQ comfortably.

You're right in a vacuum i guess, i just cant give people enough credit in those spots cuz even nits have a hard time folding AQo+,TT+ in those spots
I probably prefer to 3bet/fold
Obviously if he doesnt fold AQ+,TT+ then he s not fold 80% to 3bet too, but still :/ we mostly don't have a sample big enough

6 combos of QQ versus 4 combos of KJs so hero gotta raise/fold QQ here 66% of the time in order to make KJ raise profitable gto wise
It gets more tricky if your range has KJo pre since now you also have to check back this flop then raise/fold AA and TT as well
QdQh QdQc QhQc
3 combos
did I miss something
