No, not really. You beat nothing and this is probably one of the few times villain has a hand you beat.
Just fold this preflop. Won't have these decisions. This isn't a very strong hand, especially oop |

the guy isolates pre checked back this flop 3way called turn then bet river for almost pot when the diamonds missed.
Him potting is actually better because it usually means that he doesn't have 10x so this is supposed to be QJdd/7Jdd or 9x that decided to pot control 3way flop for some reason
I'd say this is well played if you don't count pf
edit
obviously if he has KJ like this then QJo shouldn't be out of the question, but I expect more cbets on flop even threeway with an open ender and even if you could know at the time that he plays KJ like this then KQo also could belong in his bluffing range |

I agree, but have you seen his Neffron's other hands? He's incredibly new to poker and isn't going to be able to use thought process like that yet. |

even if you hand select better preflop you are going to be in such spots often enough and you have to know when to bluff catch somehow ;P |

nice call you doubled up to become the short stack |

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen | |
