New to table, 13 hands on villian seems likely a reg. Thoughts on the best line in this spot? feels WAWB so checking back + eval/bet riv? or bet something smallish on turn + eval riv?
What if turn is a safecard like 9c and we're facing a 2/3+ pot barrel, we shipping turn? How about if he checks 9c turn? |

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN | Last edit: 09/11/2014 20:00 |

the min3bet is a weird/fishy play, i'd love to get this to showdown just to see his hand and see what he was doing
however i think theres too much value to just check it down.. i'd start by betting smallish on turn to keep his combodraws around (which is what i'd prob put him on. something like 7xh or 56h)
if he bets 2/3+ on 9c i'm indifferent to calling or shoving. prob call in this case cause i wanna see his hand
if he checks 9c its similar to this Ac turn but i bet bigger to charge draws |

I'd reraise the flop or bet the turn looking to get it in but maybe a check is superior I don't know.
The more I think about it the more I think a turn check is good because we let his draws have a chance to hit and we save money when he has a bigger boat, and if he has a hand like AK/AQ he will bet the river or call a big bet, plus it balances our turn check back range for when we have a draw here |
