i call and hope a spade doesnt come
i feel like shoving would make us lose a lot of equity since he s not repping anything basically, too low amount of combos and he could have a lot of semi bluffs

i mean this can be a real spot i thought there'd be stats

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

having position allows us to flat. if we had a decent draw we'd be flatting every time

can we fold cause villain has JJ like always? i dont mind either calling or shoving. thing with calling is there are a lot of action-killers on river... which may or may not be a good thing

yeah idk but it feels like nobody is randomly c/calling flop then c/raising a backdoor f draw, more like QQ/JJ/ mayyyybe a weird QJ that's scared of the draws...
so I wouldn't worry about spades too much, but I'd be worried for having close to 0 equity

new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...

idk I usually call in spots like these and keep my range wide, but I feel like he'll snap call a shove, seems vbad if he doesn't

I dont know what a dt drop is. Is it a wrestling move? -OlyLast edit: 26/11/2014 17:07

call and let him shove river or shove the turn yourselves are both fine imo.

could by qq/jj but folding is the worst option imo

It is not relevant what happened. Doesn't matter one bit. You either get it in on turn or river, no ifs and buts, the hand plays itself.

He's put in about 40% of his stack, you're not folding turn or river vs JJ or QQ. There are a buttload of draws that will call turn and not call blank rivers. However, they may shove blank rivers. Unless you have a strong reason to think he's spazzing on the turn I think it's best to ship turn.

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN

I shove for the reason that worse made hands might check/fold certain rivers that will snap call a shove on turn. Also big combo draws that decided to play this way will also check/fold river sometimes that will snap a shove. I can't really imagine villain going check/raise then fold to a shove more often vs check/raise + call.

ez shove imo.

get in now - spade club 2 7 9 T K A all kill ur action.

get ur chips in - with 1 fd on board i don't mind flatting a lil bit, but the 36 str8 draw with JQ, makes me just ship in here. if the board was 37JQss c d, I'd flat much more often.
