Was this hand correctly played? I wanted to light 3 bet from the dealer position which seems fine. When both checked, I kind of felt that both of them were weak so I bet on the river ( was this a good move?). When he 3bet me, I thought to myself that he had either the 8 or the 7. The only thing I was truly afraid of was a set... My all in in this situation was for him to fold his top pair and worst comes to worst if he called with a set, I still had decent equity. Don't have much stats on both players because I did not play many hands vs them... |

When you raise/checked the flop after 3betting the river, you might have flayed your unicorn. |

I don't mind the play but i believe there's better value calling cause you might be able to get him to fold some over pairs and bether draws then you but most times that you do get called you cold be drawing thin. Really depends on the read you got on the player |

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen | |

You're supposed to pop 'em on the river. |
