Simple BB defense gone horribly wrong. I know now that I really do need to defend from BB more often, but the result of that is that I'm going to play shitty spots like this quite often. So as the horrible newb I am needs to navigate these better. What are other PLO regs thoughts?
It's obviously a largely dry board. I feel like the flop bet is fine, turn bet seems alright although maybe there is an argument for C/Cing vs this villain (he's 25/17/8 CB72). In fact, given his C-bet stats maybe it's better to C/C the whole way and then it's a lot easier to fold to his river 3-barrel on this dry a board assuming he has little air in his range at that point - turn folds even become possible I suppose although I'm not sure that would be good.
So knowing what we know about his C-Bet % is it better to take a C/C line or even C/R flop and we can fold-off when he RR"s flop + steal lots of C-bets without having to make harder choices on turn/riv about calling down?
Thoughts? |

Yeah I thought the same as soon as I made it, especially considering the number of inside straight draws that are going "yippe" when I do that. Plus what do we expect a call from etc. |

I don't like donking hands like this on a board where he's gonna bet a lot and where we are somewhat resistant to turn cards.
In general I think you lead in a ton of spots where it just hurts your checking range a ton. |
