I never understand why people just jam in the last 40bb like in this case with zero showdown value and no way to be ahead :|

Well, MAYBE he did it because he thinks the first bettor might have a flushdraw that folds if he jams and that might clear up some spade outs for him..... but that might be giving him too much credit.

Plus he'd just seen me make a pretty silly bluff c/r a few hands ago trying to rep quads so maybe he thought he actually had some chance of folding me out =p
