I cant fold here right? I was intending to shove it in on the river anyway if he didnt raise. If I start check/calling then villain will get it all in with Qx anyway, and check back the stuff that I beat so I think I should bet unless im intending to fold the river, or I think he has a ton of bluffs, which I doubt

Depending on villain you might be able to find a fold on the turn here.

not commenting directly on the hand since it's clearly opponent-dependant and i don't play anymore. but just from a logic standpoint: the fact that you would be getting it in vs Qx anyway if he hadn't shoved the turn doesn't inherently justify calling his turn shove the way your quote implies, since his range becomes weighted differently once he shoves the turn.

I see what youre saying, but in this situation I think his range can be equally strong/weak whether he shoves turn or slowplays. I think either line could have Qx, villain can try to rep a flush draw if he shoves turn, or rep a bluffcatcher if he calls and maybe get me to shove it in with a bluff

Do you 3b QKo/QKs here? If you do that's even more Qx combos villain should be weary of bluffing against that you can easily have.

Could he ever shove turn with 56/diamonds or even turn a worse pair into a bluff with the intent of getting you off the type of hand that you have AA/KK?

Is he the type of fish bad enough to just ship 1010,JJ on the turn because he likes his hand and doesn't want to play a river?

I think the answer to both those latter questions is probably no so maybe you can fold here. It's a spot where I think villain should call with everything so doubtful he is balanced here and if he is he would have to be bluffing this turn a decent amount which I just find unlikely.

It is possible he just raises AQ and some specific bluffs and flats everything else because he doesn't want to lose value from worse Qx on diamond rivers Or just figures simply that your range is strong here when you barrel; trips, overpairs, NFD and that you probably aren't folding so he figures get value.

i agree he could have Qx equally with either line. he could play draws either way, but i would discount them a bit when he shoves instead of calling. the main issue is with the JJ/TT/99 etc. hands Trax mentioned. he would call with those, but it makes no sense for him to shove them.

I do agree with both of your posts guys..yeah its looking more like a fold now. I would have AQ/KQ in my range here to continue with. That being said..I guess that means im folding AA as well in this spot if im folding KK

They are basically the same hand here although with AA you block AQ much harder which may weight him further towards whatever draw/bluff he has if any. I don't think Yaruk plays KK like this.

and if you block more AQ he may just have more KQ so whatever, yea, basically the same hand imo
