can i fold here? Villain looked like an average reg
I think that villain basically only has sets here, in which case I could even fold the turn exploitatively. I dont want to get in 180bb when im only beating a bluff. But if villain knows I fold everything then he can just bluff every time, so wtf do I do? I guess I have to assume villain knows that most people wont fold AA (or maybe even AK) and is betting for value 100% here against me too, or at least at a % that makes calling negative EV

sure u could fold if your opponent is super exploitable and never bluffing, but its not really realistic to have info like that on hand. Now that u know hes raising 88 in a spot like this where realistically he should just c/c turn and then c/rai on riv you can add more bluffs in on the river when he only c/c turn in situations like this since hes taking all the top hands out of his turn c/c range. |

He's pretty polarized on the turn no? Air or nuts. But what really does he rep? 88/KK, maybe 33? Not sure how many bluffs an avg reg has here as there are no draws and I'm sure people under bluff turn and river at 50nl. I also doubt he's raising AK/KQ on the turn as you can't really call with much worse? Also about his sizing. Would most people just jam turn as a bluff? That more or less min raise feels super strong. The x/c flop then c/r turn line is usually pretty nutted and I doubt this guy balances it properly. I think this is a puke fold readless on turn. Idk just my thoughts. Mez's post makes a lot of sense as well. |

Not sure you can fold this.
Board texture makes sets rather unlikely, and the way he played it as well.
Since you hold AA, AK is rather unlikley but still a possibility and he would probably play it the same...a lot of people dont 4bet AK deep in this spot.
Btw, how is the transition to 6max Zoom and 50NL/100NL going?
I renember you playing mostly 25 NL FR Zoom not too long ago.
Seems indeed that you did improve quite a bit in short time. |

Ive been doing well at 50NL 6max, thnx I did take a couple shots at 100NL which both went really awful tho :S I donno if its just bad variance, me overadjusting/tilting or what
Are you saying people would raise AK on the turn? If they dont often 4bet AK deep, which I agree with, why would they raise postflop. That seems even worse to me. It is a pretty bad spot to raise, but if he does raise I dont see how it can be a bluff, hes not getting folds from the majority of the population. |

Only thing I dont like is the flop sizing, your range crushes him no need to bet 60% as cbet
Dont think its foldable considering the 3s paired and he shouldnt have KK in range, leaving him with A3s and 88 as combos that beat u , while he could have AK so thats like 4 value combos and 6 AKs, even if he has KK in range you still have to call |
