His river bet caught me off guard and made me think about it. Would appreciate any comments. |

3bet bigger preflop, 3-4x the size of his raise, ~3x when you're IP and ~4x when you're OOP
you checked top set on the river after the turn went check/check and none of the obvious draws from the flop got there on the river, you have to press the call button
move down in stakes until you put in more hands and get a better grasp of the fundamentals

this hand is semi absurd but we all make mistakes from time to time learn from it gj teaching him the basics there SMuft~ |

turn goes check/check. Do you lead out with the set on river, or do you check to induce and snapcall. If you do lead out and then get pushed all in is it still a snapcall? |

the fact he overbets the pot x2 isn't weird? Is that usually a sign of desperation? I kinda read it as I finally made my hand and I wanna get paid! His HUD stats were weird like 30/6 with low Afq. so loose passive. Would you alter your line with that info, would that make you just want to value bet all 3 with his wide calling range? |

There is certainly the chance he did have a flush and you saved money but all in all this is a call, we aren't saying you are never beat here just that it is a call |
