All of these hands are all my river pot or overbet spots I had against the last session I played against Fira.
Most flush draws are in my flop and turn checking range, so I don't have many missed flushed draws on the river. That said, having just the ace-blocker to the straight might not be enough to bluff here. |

More I think about this one, it has to just be the more retarded shove ever. I think I'm just punting chips to any 10 that he has. |

yeah i was thinking about calling this one putting u on the spades (had AQ here) but then i was like well i have a ton of Tx in my range, i would just snap with those so i dont really need to be bluffcatching much
edit: BUT you do need a bluffing range, i think? the turn barrel is kinda the defining point here, whether we bet or check with our Tx hands and what we do with them on river, what bluffs we could have. if we are taking this line with Tx hand we do need bluffs on river i think? |

Yeah I certainly don't bet the river with just top pair here; maybe I bet turn with KQ or KJ although that puts me in a fairly awkward spot on the river.
I think the 3 types of value hands here are AT, lots of random Tens, and then TPTK or 2-pair combos, though most if not all 2-pair combos I would check the river with. I would certainly not jam with just a bare ten, so I guess I'm jamming here with AT and bet/calling with other non-nut tens. The jam with AT only gets value out of tens, but I think it is extremely hard for someone to fold a ten there, so perhaps this could be a rare case where I jam with AT and have no balancing hands that are jammed as a bluff? It's not sound theoretically but practically speaking it might be good. If I am balancing, something like A4 spades makes the most sense. And I do have all combos of AT in my range, so perhaps jamming with all missed nut-flush draws actually is about right. |

yeah this spot, i'm literally never folding a ten since it's pretty much just a pot sized bet left. it's just too rare that Tx runs into AT. what sizing would you use with Tx here, if you are indeed betting? i'd think it'd be something like ~1/3 would be good, u'll have more Tx hands than spades (the only bluffs u can have?) i think. and yeah, just overbet jamming with AT and not ever bluffing seems weirdly okay, lol. though you do miss out on some value from other hands that would call a smaller bet that u'd make with Tx, but it's made up for in the times that ur large bet gets called by Tx? am really unfamiliar with multiple river sizings o.o |
