i think i like his play, though he's repping a somewhat thin range (doubt 7x is ck/shoving here)

his play is good, tho i'd never make it at these stakes cuz you're supposed to fold the 88!

I bet this river because of how thin I figured a raise would rep, he could have 7x but he wouldn't shove... I don't think he'd even valueshove all of his flushes, the lower ones would raise some % of the time earlier too. So I thought maybe he gets curious or turns something into a bluff... In the end I was fml-ing when I called tbh
even if he is aggro my thinking is a bit wishful and dudes will end up folding or value-shove owning me most of the time I guess...

yea i agree and vs a good player i do c/c 3 streets with the nut flush but I don't think everyone plays it that way though. for example this guy is drawing with the bare Ad but if he raises turn a decent amount with flushes he is going to be imbalanced making hero's call pretty good. Doesn't seem like that is the case here though based on ur guys convo

idk how he plays flushes/nut flush on such a board, I can only assume that he isn't a balance zen master from the little I know of him. I'm curious what sort of bluff catching hand I should prefer, should I only call with flush blocking combos here?
Or should I never bluff catch because people only do this (if at all) with the Ad and that's too rare?

i was just poking fun. everybody makes bad calls from time to time. this isnt even that bad. lol... the disciplined play here is to fold tho unless u r up against guys capable of having bluffing ranges here.
