It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen | |

the majority of the time you're probably a bit better off just 4bet jamming over his huge squeeze. unless your average opponent is as weak as this guy and actually peels your 26bb 4b w/ AQo.
turn u have to chk back .... the A either kils your action or puts him ahead of u.
u actually have no cards in your range here that are worse than a pair of queens once this A comes on the turn.
edit: oh and i woulda chkd back this flop w/ Kh |

my problem with trapping on such a flop is that I don't know how loose he flats the 4b.. I've seen people flat 4bets with eg 89s which would mean free equity if I check back this flop
other than that the squeeze size isn't too big, most people squeeze to 13bbs @100nl
so I guess chk back turn means I call the river less-than-halfpot shove every time (assuming I bet flop the same way) ?

I mean I understand that the A is an action killer that gets worst stuff to fold, but the pot size was so big at this point that I thought if I'm calling river shove I might as well jam to get value from pair+ draw hands.
The mistake here could be that he never has any of those, especially after flatting the 4bet; but we're talking about a reg who just c/called 27 bbs with AQ on 597hh 4bet pot so I'm not sure. In btn vs blind scenarios I do see people flatting larger 4b sizings with suited connectors oop |

obrat's squeeze ain't that big with 3 callers already in. Pot is 10 and he makes it 12, would you rather just 3b pot to 10? |
