bet SMALLER on the turn or even check the turn. The 6 is a fairly neutral card but it's a card that many of your overcards with backdoors that c-bet the flop will give up on. it's nice to have a hand like this in the turn x/c range to balance out those give ups.
betting is fine too, just need to bet smaller because we don't really have that many bluffs ... maybe a few A8s, JTs, AJcc-AKcc, maybe a few A5s, maybe a few ATs.... this is not too many bluffs, maybe it adds up to 16 or so combos ... and if u bet all your overpairs twice ... thats TT-AA, 5x6=30 combos, plus your sets (9 more), 2 combos of T9s, 3 combos of 67s is like 44 ...u chose to bet near pot so u need 2 value for every bluff with that sizing ... u r a few bluffs short, particularly if u include hands like A9s, T9s, 98s, tho the latter two tend to play better as x/c;s, we could bet them sometime.
intuitively it seemed to me like a place where a smaller bet is better, turns out it would be. or a check. |
