preflop seems bad, should prob be a fold vs your sizing
flop he should just check/call right? cause 220bb is a lil too deep to get this in. i'd think for 100bb this would be standard.
i understand the flop raise though, his hand needs protection as there are almost no good turn cards for him

thats actually an argument in favour of check/calling but I dont think his hand plays that bad on turns, he does have bd spades
100bb deep I dont mind either play, 200bb CR is much worst, his sizing is quite idiotic as well, not to mention the stack off

mm i see, yeah turn is tough if you just flat.
interesting that you mention his sizing - it does make sense for a smaller raise in some spots where board is relatively dry
(PLO noob here )

Preflop is a very clear defense even vs a pot open, he has a good hand.

C/R:ing a hand this un-nutty with 0 redraws, 240bb deep OOP is completely suicidal though.

Hm.. Off-suite socks..Last edit: 07/08/2015 14:56

he hopes pwnya has 789 or something? dunno what he hopes to see that isn't shitting on him after his pot size raise gets potted (not like pwnya racks off J5)

fira   United States. Aug 09 2015 09:12. Posts 6345

yeah basically he has to hope for some kind of wrap. i wasn't sure if he could fold after raising pot... cause he does block top/middle set so maybe IP will be more weighted towards wraps. but wraps could easily just flat instead of raise.

what would you guys say is worse, the flop raise or the jam?

TianYuan    Korea (South). Aug 10 2015 05:34. Posts 6817

The jam I think. Even if you include every single combo of 897 in there as a jam, he's only got 38%...
