call river, what is he going to call the raise with?
(unless he's known to be a station)
As played I'd fold, people aren't really going to bluff here just because you're supposedly capped |

pretty sick. we just arent perceived to have any 5s or 910 on river. So he can shove any of his 910hh j9hh 89hh etc hands or even 5x. Its not a call we are happy about but def are at the top of our range. |

I don't understand why we aren't perceived to have a 5 here (like 5xhh). Nobody raises this river without a 5 or better and hero's raise size doesn't look like a bluff at all. Would avg villain try to make someone fold a 5? Also hero checking back the nuts isn't that far fetched from what I see people do in a daily basis. Yeah it's a decent spot to bluff with a blocker in theory but I don't think you'll see a bluff here often enough at these stakes |

i just don't see how this isn't one of 16 910 combos
If being capped induces you to want to call the river 3bet maybe you should just flat, not sure how much value is there anyways.
results? |

Well its just hard to put anyone on 910s or any 5x from mp. those are 3bet/folds from 99% of the regpool. Especially players who are pretty good ( i would put euflop in that category for sure) He would have to have a CO of over 10% for me to even consider it. 910 is heavily discounted given he didnt bet flop/raise turn, and 55 is an awful turn peel. So he literally has no 5x in his range imo. |

he shouldn't have a 5, but he raises river like this, which screams value raise :[
I agree with your point though
I still think that it's rare to see such a bluff because the hands it's supposed to fold out are too strong and nl100 players don't consider each other disciplined to make folds, villain would probably not attempt this if the raise size had been bigger at this stack depth.
So he might have been induced by the minraise |
